• Door to door pickup from Wānaka around 7am

• A relaxing scenic drive to Manapouri stopping for coffe and lunch at Manapouri Cafe. Visit the interesting Antique shop and famous ‘Two Wee Book Shops’ in Manapouri

• Meet the lovely team at RealNZ and board the boat at 12.30pm to cruise across Lake Manapouri, followed by a coach trip over the epic Wilmot Pass through Fiordland’s rainforest and onto one of the large magical vessel into the Doubtful Sound

The adventure into Doubtful Sound

• The trip Is designed to travel along the lines of a traditional scow, the vessels, The Fiordland Navigator and The Wanderer, blend old-world charm with modern comforts that include spacious viewing decks, dining saloons with fully licensed bars, and observation lounges. 

• As you cruise through some of New Zealand’s most stunning scenery, RealNZ’s knowledgeable nature guides will provide commentary ensuring you don’t miss a thing, whether you’re encountering a pod of resident dolphins, fur seals or rare penguins.  

• After dropping anchor in a sheltered cove, you can choose to explore the shoreline by kayak or tender boat, or simply relax onboard. For those looking to refresh, there’s even a chance to go swimming. All activities are weather-dependent. 

• Enjoy a breathtaking vista when you wake up the next morning 

The Gourmet Food Selection

• In the evening, you’ll enjoy a delicious three-course dinner prepared by our onboard chef, served in the dining saloon. Mingle with fellow travellers, try some local wines from our bar, and if the skies are clear, spend some time on the upper deck gazing at the stars. 

• Enjoy a hearty dinner including soups, a buffet of salads and hot dishes, as well as a selection of desserts and cheeses (dietary requirements can be catered for)

• There is a liscenced bar onboard to enjoy trying a new wine or two (cost is extra)

• Kick off the next day with a full cooked breakfast or a nourishing continental selection and get ready to explore the other arms of the fiord. Before long, you’ll return to Deep Cove, and take the trip back to Manapouri where you’ll tell the story of your experience in the remote wilderness of New Zealand. 

• You will return to Manapouri at 12noon the following day

• Complimentary teas and coffee are available throughout the trip

• This is an enjoyable scenic trip to dazzle the senses and give you a fantastic display of the nature of New Zealand

• Your price includes: Travel, accomodation onboard one of the stunning vessels, guided tour from RealNZ, gourmet dinner and breakfast, full PHC care and service (excludes sleepover care, enquire if needed), extra night in TeAnau is available

• Extras will include: coffee and lunch at Manapouri cafe, any stops or food bought at the cafe on the drive to and from the tour, wine or extra nibbles bought on the vessel extra to the menu.

• Minimum of three people is needed for this tour

• PHC Care will finish care around 8pm. Let us know if you need support on the vessel over night.
